CHILDREN'S SUMMER HISTORY PROGRAM
PIP!
Plymouth in the Past Series
Discover Plymouth’s past
beyond the Pilgrims in an exciting week of historic adventure

Young
learners experience a week-long program of hands-on activities, walking tours,
site visits, and workshops on Plymouth history from late colonial times
to the modern era.
Immerse yourself in
long-ago times & a different way of living
Participants explore Plymouth's rich historic district, and learn the stories of the town center and its residents over four centuries. Through hands-on crafts and historic activities, such as spinning, weaving, art projects, cooking, and period games, students learn about daily life in the past. The week-long program concludes with a special presentation for family members, developed and performed by the students. The program is based at the Plymouth Antiquarian Society's Hedge House Museum on the Plymouth waterfront, with convenient on-site parking.

Recommended for

Please note: Due to restoration work at Plymouth Antiquarian Society properties we will not be offering this program in 2012.
